The Standards of Salvation • Revelation 1:6

“…has made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father.…”

Jesus is so amazing, while we were still sinners and enemies of God, Jesus came down to die for us giving us a way to be saved. Once we accept His gift of salvation, we’re now adopted and brought into the kingdom and family of God because of the blood of Jesus Christ. However, just like in any family or Kingdom there’s a standard for people’s behavior. Throughout the Bible we are called to be holy, blameless, above reproach, and loving. Jesus is the standard or goal that we are aiming for in our lives, He tells us that He’s coming for us and that we would be holy and blameless.

Lord please fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may have power over sin. So that when you return you’d find us holy and blameless!
