You may have heard the phrase, “money makes the world go round.” In some sense, this is true. It seems that to get ahead in life, and to get things done in this world, you need money. There are things that are more valuable than money though, like your time and your health. You can’t buy time, and modern medicine can only do so much for the human body. Money seems so important in our day to day lives, but it’s just a reflection of what really matters. What will you sacrifice for that overtime pay? What will you leave behind for that bigger paycheck? If we realize that we are just a steward or a caretaker of the resources we have, then we will experience what it’s like to have true riches, riches that only God can give.
