I’m still thinking about the Men’s Conference. We go to conferences and retreats and so quickly forget what we heard. What’s the last thing God spoke to you? What are you doing with it? In Deuteronomy 6, the Lord told the Israelites that they were to teach His commandments to their children, when they sat down, when they lied down for bed. The commandments were supposed to govern everything they did and be the perspective through which they saw the rest of the world. I was reminded at the Men’s Conference that the Christian life isn’t meant to be easy. It’s tough, but it’s worth it. This world is not my home and I have to remember I get one life to make an eternal impact, and I don’t want to waste it. So I ask you again, what’s the last thing God spoke to you, and what are you doing about it?
