Be Thankful Always • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As followers of Christ, we ought to view the glass as half full instead of half empty. As believers, we are to have this confidence, knowing that in every difficult circumstance, God is actively working out His plans and purposes. These are to draw us closer to Him, to deepen our knowledge in Christ, to increase our love for God, to compel us to extend unconditional love to mankind, and to conform us into the likeness and nature of His Son, Jesus. Therefore, our thoughts, speech, and conduct will reflect the nature of Jesus, thus bringing pleasure to God. The believers’ mission is to know Him and make Him known. Let’s rejoice always, pray always, and be thankful always, for this is God’s will for us. (Philippians 3:8-12; John 14:23; 2 Timothy2:11-13).
