Drive or Be Driven • Numbers 33:55-56

All throughout Scripture, the Lord gives us warnings and promises. He emphazises importance of driving out sin and the things which will weigh us down in our relationship with Jesus. When we obey this warning, there are great blessings and benefits: we grow with the Lord, we have less things dragging us down, and our relationships with other disciples of Jesus flourish. The problem is, when we disobey and delay in obeying the Lord, the exact opposite happens. We soon find our relationship with Jesus dry and lifeless, we feel weighed down by guilt and shame, and we feel lonely and out of place with other disciples of Jesus. Lord help us to be obedient to you, knowing your plans for us are not to harms us but to give us a hope and future.
