Well Done! • Matthew 25:21

If we speak all languages of men and of angels without love, then it’s all just chatter without substance. If we donate all our possessions to benefit the poor but have not love, we gain nothing (1 Cor. 13:1-3). All good deeds and charitable works are commendable acts, but when they are done for public recognition and selfish motives, then they have no heavenly value to God. All our works are to be done out of pure hearts. Our primary motivation should be to bring pleasure to Jesus in all that we do for Him. We do not want to hear “I never knew you, depart from Me” (Matthew 7:23). Instead we desire to hear “Well done good and faithful servant!“ (Matthew 25:21)
