Fear can weaken Obedience • Exodus 4:10-17

“ Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.” Many times our fears can get the best of us and, instead of obeying what the Lord is calling us to do, we freeze, we make excuses, and we don’t act. What was the last thing the Lord asked of you? Don’t allow fear to come and cause you to not act on His plans and purposes. The Lord has rescued and redeemed you, and you no longer have to be a slave to fear. Instead, obey, knowing that obedience will lead to a closer relationship with Him. Remember, He desires our obedience more than our sacrifices for Him or ministry to Him.
“Has the Lord as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice” – 1 Samuel 15:22
