They Had Broken Through • Mark 2:4

Four friends, persuaded that Jesus would heal their paralytic friend, carry the man under the hot Middle Eastern sun to the place they heard He was teaching. They find the house to be so full that you physically can’t get into the door of the building. They had invested a lot to get here: time, sweat, pain and money. It was certainly a reflection of their love for their friend. Were they willing, after all they’d given, to walk back, having come this close to Jesus, only to be turned away by the multitudes? It was more than a roof that they broke through that day. They broke through anything they needed to do to get to Jesus. One thing they knew; they needed Him and they weren’t leaving without having met with Him. Are you willing to remain and break through to meet with Jesus today?
