Lacking Nothing • James 1:2-5

When we go through difficult trials, we tend to become discouraged. We shouldn’t give up, but we ought to pray at all times (Luke 18:1). Consider it a joy, when experiencing trials, because this test of our faith produces patience. Let patience be perfected in you, so you can be mature and complete. If you lack wisdom, ask God and He’ll generously give it to you, without finding fault (James 1:2-5). God is very gracious to us when we cry out to Him. He hears us and answers us (Isaiah 30:19). These trials that come our way are allowed by God to shape us into the character of His Son Jesus Christ. Despite all the pain and suffering, God is with us in the midst of trials. Jesus will never leave us nor abandon us. So, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Rely on the Holy Spirit, recognize your need for Jesus, and trust in God!
