You are the God Who Works Wonders • Psalm 77:14

One of the definitions for the word wonder is “a hard to understand thing.” We’re more familiar with its other definitions, like “a marvel” or “miracle.” Yet it certainly can be “hard to understand” when you’re wondering how God could do what you’re asking. How can God change what has never changed? Psalm 77:15 says, “You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph.” Why mention Joseph if he was a son of Jacob? God wants to specify that He took the portion of the promised people that were starving in the wilderness and those being carried away to Egypt (Joseph and his two sons) and brought them all to the promised land. So you see? God reaches out from one end of the earth to the other to make a way for His special people. Have you given your life to Him? Then that means you, friend.
