Through the godly influence of one of his teachers, Ken began reading the Bible at age 13 and came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He soon realized that the Lord had called him to preach. At age 16, Ken left high school, attained his GED and left Maine for a ministry training school in Alabama working with drug-addicted men. After four years, the Lord called him to return to Maine to preach the Gospel.

Ken and his wife Jeanette started a Bible study in their home in 1991, and the group grew steadily through the years. People were hungry for the Word and embraced verse-by-verse teaching. Thirty-two years later, Ken is still preaching in his hometown. He and Jeanette have three children and four grandchildren.

Don describes himself in his early years as another baby-boomer who grew up thinking that he was a Christian because everyone born in America was a Christian. As he grew, he followed the path of least resistance and ended up much like the rest who follow that path. Finally, when he was a junior in college the Lord helped him truly understand His love and power to change a life through Jesus.

Don came to Christ at a Billy Graham Los Angeles Crusade in the 1960’s. He sensed the call of God on his life to follow Jesus Christ completely and prepare for the ministry. He attended Talbot Seminary in La Mirada, California, and he and his wife, Jean, went on to serve at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, eventually planting several churches in the San Jose area.

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Pastor Eric and his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2012 to plant Reach Jax. Pastor Eric worked at Calvary Tucson as an Assistant pastor for 10 years before God called him to plant.

Since planting the church, the Lord has stretched, challenged, changed, and blessed Eric in ways that he could have never prepared for. Much of his real life experience is seen in his practical and biblical teachings.
